This “Implant Continuum” is for the general dentist with a desire to implement implants in their practice or the specialist who wants to focus on the surgical and restorative aspects of a specific implant system.

This course will provide the comprehensive knowledge needed to initiate implant placement utilizing the Dentsply implant systems. In contrast to a weekend program, this continuum will guide you through a systematic evolution of the skill sets needed to immediately implement implants in your practice. The course will include critical aspects of implant placement, bone grafting, implant restorations and management/avoiding complications.

Course Content

This course provides 64 hours of education dedicated to thoroughly teaching one specific implant system. The program is divided into 4 weekend sessions, two days each plus an additional 8 hours of home study to prepare for the upcoming seminar. As a participant, you will be expected to treatment plan at least two clinical cases and participate in the round table discussions of those cases. Upon completion of the continuum, a clinical mentor will be assigned to monitor and support the success of your first 10 implant cases.

· Learn the exacting surgical protocol for predictable implant placement.

· Create beautiful, esthetic and functional implant supported restorations.

· Manage the complexities of implant implementation with structured guidelines and a post-residency mentoring program.
